2. Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use

a) Visiting the website

When visiting our website www.dtcf.com , the browser used on your terminal device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • Date and time of access,
  • Name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • Website allowing the access (referrer-URL),
  • The used browser and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The aforementioned data are processed by us for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection of the website,
  • Ensuring a comfortable use of our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability, and
  • for other administrative purposes.

The legal basis for the data processing is laid down in Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person. In addition, we use cookies, social plugins and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations of this under points 8, 9 and 10 of this data protection declaration.

b) Newsletter

If you have expressly given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. For the receipt of the newsletter, the indication of an e-mail address is sufficient. Unsubscribing is possible at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you are welcome to send your unsubscribe request at any time by e-mail to info@ dtcf.de. We will store your e-mail address until you have revoked your consent.

c) Surveys and event invitations

Contact information of our customers, partners and interested parties, such as e-mail address, is used to receive surveys and event notices from DTCF (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 f) GDPR). This is lawful due to our existing legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to inform our customers, partners and interested parties about events and to receive feedback from them via surveys.

If you no longer wish to participate in the above surveys or no longer wish to be invited to events, you can object to the processing of your data at any time, for example via a link at the end of each e-mail. Alternatively, you are welcome to send your unsubscribe request at any time by e-mail to info@ dtcf.de.

d) Applicant postcard

We process your name, your e-mail address, your telephone number and your position request for the purpose of handling the application process and, in particular, for contacting you in this regard (legal basis is Art. 6. para. 1 b) GDPR in conjunction with. § 26 para. 1 BDSG). We will store your data for 6 months if no position corresponding to your wishes can be filled at the time of application. If you are hired after the application process, we store the data for the duration of your employment. If you are not considered for employment, we will delete your data 6 months after the end of the application process.

3. Disclosure of data

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below. We will only disclose your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR,
  • the disclosure is necessary in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data,
  • in the event that a there is a legal obligation for the disclosure pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c GDPR, as well as
  • this is legally permissible and necessary according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. b GDPR to process contractual relationships with you.

Data transfers are only made to third countries if data processing and the transfer to the respective recipient country is permissible. The permissibility of the transfer to third countries is governed by Art. 44 et seq. GDPR. We will inform you in the event of a corresponding transfer with specific data protection information on the concrete processing procedure, stating the respective legal regulation.

4. Rights of data subjects

You have the right:

  • pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of complaint, the origin of your data if it has not been collected by us, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information about its details;
  • pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR to immediately demand the correction of incorrect or completion of your personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims;
  • to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you, the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure and we no longer require the data, but you need it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common and machine-readable format or to request the transfer to another controller (“data portability”);
  • to revoke your consent at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. As a consequence, we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future, and

5. Right of objection

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided that there are reasons arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which will be implemented by us without specifying a particular situation. If you wish to exercise your right of revocation or objection, an e-mail to info@ dtcf.de is sufficient.

6. Data security

We use the common SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) within the website visit. We also use appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

7. Automated decision making

Automated decision-making or profiling in the sense of Art. 22 GDPR does not take place.

This data protection declaration is currently valid and has the status November 2022 . Due to the further development of our website and offers presented through it or due to changed legal or official requirements, changes of this privacy policy may become necessary. 9. Cookies

On our site we use cookies. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone or similar) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your end device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. In the cookie, information is stored that arises in each case in connection with the specific end device used. This does not mean, however, that we gain direct knowledge of your identity. The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a GDPR. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website.
